Two gardens in one

A clever design creates two gardens within one courtyard.  A reclaimed brick circle enclosed with soft planting and art deco inspired gazelle screens creates a secluded seating area for guests, whilst still allowing open views across the garden to the main circular lawn. 

For the owners, a slate terrace stretches the length of the house with a dining area at one end and two vegetable beds in easy access of the kitchen at the other end.  A quirky head sculpture by Paul Richardson RSA  provides a focal point from key windows in both properties.
