Light and warmth

Warm cedar

The wonderful warm cedar wood and pale travertine stone chosen by the architect and clients for the interior of the house were used in the garden to create a seamless transition between indoors and outside to unite the two spaces.

With a passion for cooking, fresh produce was top of the design menu of my clients - so a salad and herb bed was created outside the kitchen door for easy picking and espaliered fruit trees trained against the south facing fence.

With subtle garden lighting the garden is transformed into the perfect place to entertain and admire from the house throughout the year.
