It’s wonderful to get a 7 page article of my garden in Garden Style – Germany’s top gardening magazine – shame I can’t understand it! The photos by the wonderful garden photographer Marianne Majerus look lovely though and hopefully tell the story!
Garden style magazine design – the planting in the garden is suited to sandy soil, low rainfall, salt laden winds from the nearby sea, full sun and dry shade under two towering lime trees. The conditions in this garden are certainly a contrast to the mild microclimate and claggy clay soil of my former London garden which was full of tropical, architectural plants, banana trees, bamboos and cannas
